We had dinner and stayed for one night. The service is absolutely impeccable, the blond lady who welcomed us and was our waitress throughout our stay is very friendly and lovely.
The food is exceptional, slightly more expensive but it is absolutely worth it. Delicious unpretentious food, while definitely feels like fine dining. There’s an open kitchen where it’s nice to watch your food being prepared. Great selection of wine too. Highly recommended for a special occasion.
The room was OK, there was a bit of a musky smell, but otherwise it was fine, comfy mattress and nice and quiet at night. We stayed in room 6, a bit small but fine for 1 night.
If you’re a foodie, this is the destination for you. The warmest welcome and stunning food in a beautiful, historic building. A superb place for a meal and stop over. Louise is an attentive host and you just haven’t lived until you’ve …
This hotel is a little gem! Our room was lovely, clean and spacious. Although its just off the main road, the road noise was minimal.|We ate in the restaurant and it was fabulous. Their dry aged steaks are amazing. Well worth a trip.|Highly recommended.
For what you pay this should be a fabulous little place but sadly it falls down all over the place. The quality of the fitments is bad. The bathroom looks as though it is a DIY job and is across the hall so not ensuite The room was OK but …

We went for Sunday lunch while on holiday. The chicken and the Yorkshire pudding very nice, but the vegetables were hard as were the roast potatoes. The cauliflower cheese was lovely. Overall expensive not worth the money
Only one word sums up this restaurant, from the decor, the staff, the food, the whole experience, and that is 'fantastic'. Worth it in every sense.
